Some people call it handmade soap, or handcrafted soap. You may call it herbal or natural soap. However it is titled, you have found it here and it is made completely from scratch with the finest vegetable oils and plant derived essential oils. One of the most challenging and exciting facets of soap making for us is the endless opportunities and possibilities in adding essential oils to our soaps. Of course we add essential oils to our soaps for the many benefits they offer, but we also love the challenge of combining essential oils for the pure pleasure of aromatherapy that they provide.
I just took one of our new creations out of the mold this week that I am really excited to share with all of you. The essential oils I used were a blend of sweet orange and patchouli. Sweet orange is refreshing, calming, and relaxing, while patchouli exudes an earthy-sweet aroma that can be sensual, relaxing, and wonderful for mature skin. Several of our customers are patchouli lovers, so this bar is especially for you. (Marie, I have a bar with your name on it!)
These bars are currently on the curing rack and will be ready to try March 23rd.
